Practice before Event#2

Hey Guys, the idea of a practice "date(s)" before the second event is definately on the NEED TO DO agenda. Unless we can pray on good weather and or have Gary allow us to host a practice at the house, our real only other option is to go out on the Sunday Open-Class Night at NEXT Paintball. I would like all the Brighton members to post up if they would like to play at NEXT this Sunday? This does not exclude the Codrington team for they are always welcome to attend anything we schedule. On another note pertaining to when we are allowed to start using our home field again or what stops us from playing; or was it just weather permitting? If you could get back to me on that Gary that would be swell. Otherwise I would like to see most of the Brighton team out this Sunday with Adam Paulmer and myself, or if not the following Sunday because we have a whole lot to work on and improve upon.

PS. for anyone who cares about costs, Sunday Open-Class Nights @ NEXT are $50 (entry, air tag and case of paint)

Since Next Paintball seems unwilling to rent us the field - I have put several calls in to them but I am continually told that they will get back to me. I believe that Next runs this event on Tuesdays & Sundays - both school nights unfortunatley. Practice is a definite must, though keep in mind that we are, for the most part a new CX4 Team & we are playing against RXL teams. Infinite is the home team & you can be sure that they have spent a great deal of time practicing on this field over the last few months. In my opinion the team played at least as well as expected - all in all both lines did very well & after the first event we placed 4th out of 5 teams. The next event is a double header against the 2 top teams - Joyceville & Semper Fi, should be very challenging, but with some practice we should be able to get some points up on the scoreboard. I will try & get as many Codrington players out as possible to practice on the Sunday evenings, as well I am planning to get everyone out on the Saturday before the next event at Next Paintball. As far as our home field is concerned - it is covered in snow - if we are really lucky we might get out on it before the March event but not likely any sooner than that. Keep up the great work Steve & remember that this whole series is meant to be practice for the teams.

$50 for a practice is a bit steep for me as i dont have that much money to last me to the summer....
i wouldn't be able to practice any more than once before the next event

Thanks for posting up Caleb, yea I completely understand peoples financial abilities, i was just posting this up for all that is interested in playing more times on top of the events scheduled. I know that the IWPL is ment to be our winter "Practice" but as well im posting this up for those interested in further inproving upon their personal skills. I plan to be out playing this Sunday with Adam palmer and possibly a few more of the Joyceville team members. All is welcome to come.

Well get one. If you need help finding work i can always put your name in with my drug dealer. He's always hireing.. cant ever have enough drug mules...
