Well.......theres no easy way to put this so im just going to say it.....
I will not be able to play the next two IWPL events.
I would have informed you guys earlier but i was still arguing with my parents about this
My mom says i haven't been doing well enough in school so im out for two months......that includes practices
This is so stupid but i really dont want to miss any CX4 so i'll be hauling ass in school
So unless my parents have a sudden change of heart, i wont see you boys till may.....
we'll see how it goes...
Also Brigham wont be able to make the next event (same reason) , im not sure about the one after that......

Well as it stands we are going to more than likely be suffering HUGE in roster numbers. From my tally it looks like this:

Attending - Michael Judd, Jeff Vanderspank, Spencer Azzopardi, Steve Clark, Al England, Dustin Forcht.

Cant Attend - Brigham Nickerson, Caleb Nickerson, Kugan Wight, Jeff Atchison.

Maybe (on the fence) - Ramzi.

I have all my friends and connections looking for spare or interested players that would like to play the event as Guests for us but nothing has come up as of yet. The question I would like to have answered is; If we come up empty in filling our roster, do you boys still want to pull together and put on a clinic for Event 3? I have played xball with a short bench (not quite this short though) and its not easy or pleasent in any manner, but Im unwilling and reluctant to just hand Oshawa Fury the Win by forefit. Post up.

I have one player so far who will fill in for us who has played CX4. That makes 7 players total so far. The question is do we want just anyone to fill in?? Or would it be better to only roster competent players & have to play triple shifts. I will continue to try to get a few more players, but should we only invite experienced players or do you want just bodies on the field. As well the field will NOT be ready to use by this Saturday as I had hoped & with the rain that is forecast it would be unwise to play even if the temperatures reached the double digits. The Codrington players should arrange to be here at the house about 7pm to prepare for the event.

xball is a points game. Thus dont just get bodies. I was experienced and competent people.

Well we need 'Players' not 'Bodies'. What will end up happening is we put these 'bodies' on the feild and they get rolled and a few things then happen: 1) You scare them by stepping them up into this caliber of play 2) They Get rolled and after a few matches they dont really want to go back out 3) Oshawa picks up on this and runs the points WAY up 4) These 'bodies' start drawing penalties due to not properly knowing the rules and ways to blur the lines. And lastely; with just having 'Bodies' in the pits and them complaining due to anything listed in the above- they just starts cluster-fcuking our pits and making it noteably harder than it would have been initially even running 6 players and triple shifting.

Again this is just thought, also reasonably negativel but possibly true.

I agree with steve, I'd rather have to play a few double shifts than get people that don't know how to play xball.

I asked Darrlel if he wants to play and I was asking 2 guys that i play bush ball with who played alot at pro advantage if they were interested.

Post up if you want me to ask them to play.

Al, in this case i want to say it depends if they really want to. I wouldn't want anyone that doesn't want to go and just is going to play paintball.

Thanks Al but i think we need to pass on just rostering "guys". Anyone who doesnt regularly play tournament ball or xball should be left out; I appologize for being harsh but from experience this is just my opinion. I just think we need to get this roster thing out of our heads and just focus on playing and getting a solid line rotation for the 6-7 guys we have.
