GZ Practice Empty
PostSubject: GZ Practice   GZ Practice EmptyTue Jul 20, 2010 10:15 pm

We have the field at GZ on the Friday evening before the event, from 6pm - 9pm. Marc is trying to get us an opponent to play. The cost is $200.00 for half the field, so count on another team to play against. We need all the players at GZ for 5pm. All those going up in the RV should be here for about 2pm. Let me know if this is an issue for anyone!!! Should we talk to Marc about getting the field on Saturday evening as well?????? $$$$$$$$$$$

I dont think it is necessary due to having practiced on it Friday before the event and then played all Saturday and then after the event we can have our team discussions and re-walk the feilds and try to fix whats not working or just perfect whats currently working. Though you can never have enough practice or feild time Im more or less thinking from the players standpoint and that im sure we will just want to rest before playing again Sunday.

example:

Just from past experiences this season: practicing the Friday before the event and then playing the event saturday is fine. However normally I practice with Lockdown on the Saturday evening prior to their event on sunday (at this time I feel exhausted and want nothing else but to be left alone and sleep for the entire next 24hrs) and then back up in the morning to just help coach and help out in the cxbl pits is still a tough task after that prior days events.

In the same notion this will be close to the same circumstances if we practiced Fri, played Sat then practiced Sat evening, and then played the final event on Sunday. It takes alot of physical and mental stamina to do so, but im game to do so if chosen to be done... this is just a forewaring for those that it sounds like a sweet idea... its a different story otherwise.
