Team Practice

Who is available to play some paintball at Next on Saturday 13th in the afternoon to shake off some of the rust that is gathering on all of our players.

Well sorry to ill inform but we cant play Saturday for multiple reasons. (1) The speedball field layout is only setup/available Sun-Mon-Tues, and Mil-Sim field layout is setup/available the remaining of the week Wed-Thur-Fri-Sat. (2) Costs of playing is way to high unless played on the Open Class nights like the two previous times I have posted up for any members interested in practice or pbl time. Any playtime at NEXT except Open Class Nights look like the following: ENTRY-$10/3hr or $25-day, AIR-$1/1000psi or $10 for air band, PAINT-$120.00/2000(case) BYOP is non negotiable. TOTAL- You are looking at $155.00/person for practice... which is INSANE if you ask my opinion.

Last time we played there on a Saturday they had a BYOP paint admission price! I guess this is no longer available? Field layout is not the best for us but at least it would get the players out shooting paint. Unfortunately Sunday evenings aren't very good for the younger team members. I will call Next to check into the BYOP admission & post up what I find out.

OK. I just spoke to Next & we can pay a $20.00 entrance fee & then buy paint from the Pro Shop from $25.00 per case depending on availability. Worst case we would have to buy paint from the counter at $40.00 per case.

So still your looking at $70 to play because you forgot the $10 air bands... which is alright but still more than I personally would want to pay a day before a double header event. Then again I've been out three times since the first event. I do however strongly encourage and support the fact that anyone who hasn't played since the event to get out and play; don't play conservative, rather practice playing bunkers and positions you normally wouldn't and shooting right and left handed (Dustin) The Xball format of paintball is tirelessly unpredictable and your never guaranteed you core position on the field. You need to be able/COMFORTABLE playing all/ANY position we place you in. More to come...
