- Marc got back to me right away & said that if we wanted we are locked in to practice on the Friday night & he will get 2 CX4 teams for us to play. At this point he is expecting us to be there. If we can't get everyone out I need to let him know ASAP so that he doesn't dissapoint the Eastern teams. We may have to leave here around 3pm -4pm on the Friday afternoon to be able to do this. Post up your availability.
I believe this is a great compromise from me and Jeff going to your house Gary.. It makes a lot of sense now that me and Jeff go to the GZ field and we'll meet you guys there.. Will we have to buy his paint? The PM7 should be there shooting kids as they say. I feel proud to have my full set up, no more claiming guns, though i shall miss this duty.

| Alright, the plan that me and michael have is we meet you guys at GZ for the practice, and then me and michael leave after the practice. Then we will come back in the morning around 6:30am. | |

| We have lots of air & we have new netting & have raised it up from 10' to 12' in height for about 60% of the field. I have now done my part, who is bringing us some new drills? Has anyone made any attempts to get another team out to practice with you? | |

| I've been thinking of new drills.. I was thinking we should do the gauntlet from the One with the gun video... Is it possible we could maybe get some sort of patching equipment for the bunkers? Those doritos really need some work | |

| alright i have multiple drills we can do tomorrow....
also i have a list of teams that we won't be inviting as they are at the raiders cx4 scrim day hamilton, loweville, owen sound, wawa, petrolia now using the process of elimination that leaves: oakville, mount hope, new sudbury, north bay, vanier, barrehaven, whitby, brampton.... i think it's safe to say that we can elimintate new sudbury, north bay, vanier, mount hope and barhaven as they are quite a journey away this leaves oakville, brampton and whitby now someone will need to get a hold of some of these teams and we will be in buisness...
my thinking here is that no teams will be willing to make the trek out here when they could get a practice on the actual e3 layout because all three are connected to big fields, (gz, wasaga, etc.) however we can always try thats just my two cents on the whole inviting teams out thing....

The lack of diverse drills isnt the issue, its the lack in which we focus on players weaknesses, and the length of with we practice paintballs fundimentals and lastly just meer lack of experience on the event layout compaired to some teams. We need to take advantage of 'cheap paintball' that gary makes available for such players with lack of funds. In the realization that we dont have adequate bunker veriety and numbers; it is easy to understand that we wont be setting up ANY event layouts and this is completely fine. This IMO just means scrap the scrims, and work on our fundamentals or the highly effective drills that will not only work on elements of your gameplay but also help you physically through the rigors of playing paintball. -Breakouts -Running and gunning -Laneing and how to set lanes -Sliding (no more dreadful core samples or awful double knees) -Guatlet drill -Snappshooting (one posts, other battles) *remember to practice both sides/hands -One on ones (let it be free roaming; like IWPL finals) -Communication ( walky-talky drill) There are a TON more this is just a quick list. It will be great to actually get some scrims in before this upcomming event, but when we dont have that advantage, man up guys and work on stuff you know needs work and leave scrims till when we got the actual layout and they become benificial. This is just my quick say and .02 though i wil not be attending. And please.... No grammar natzi's troll my post.k.thx. Steve

WHAT!?!?!
but in all seriousness, me personally think i need to work on running and gunning. i think it would be pretty cool if each player works independently on a skill they would like to improve, like they do their own thing. Or they can work with a partner.
We are supposed to be there for 10:00am right?

| Steve, you need to put bai after k.thx JEEZ! D:
I concur 100% on steves post. Scrims are good maybe at the end when we don't have much paint left, but i think some practices should just be drills.
