Team Practice

The idea of attending the Rockstar Season Opener Party for a practice on Sunday June 5,2011 for a team practice has been presented. We have 3 possibilities for practice next weekend.

1. Regular Practice here at the field on Saturday. 10am - 4pm. Cost - $30.00 for paint.

2. Practice at the Rockstar Season Opener Party on Sunday. Start time 8am. Cost - $35.00 for paint & entry

3. Regular practice at our field on Saturday & attend the Rockstar Season Opener Party on Sunday. 10am - 4pm Saturday, after dinner leave for Toronto return Sunday by dinner time. - Cost $65.00.

All players must post up there intentions. Majority rules. If we do not have enough players we will not have a practice at all. If team members are not posting up it is up to the rest of the team to contact them & ensure that everyone has posted. If team members are unable to attend practice on a regular basis then we need to find players that can. It doesn't make sense to join a team that you are unable to fully support - this includes practices, not just events.

A decision must be made by Wednesday June 1,2011 for practice this weekend, if there is not a majority decision at that point, practice will be set for Saturday at our home field, regular times. I will be away Monday May 31,2011 until dinner time on June 1,2011.

I think the Rockstar practice on Sunday would be pretty good.

After further investigation I have determined that the $29.99 + $1.00 is for the Season Opener Party from 12pm - 4pm. Therefore the cost for practicing may be different. Somebody should determine what the cost to attend the practice from 7am - 11am.

It would cost $15 BYOP + $30 paint from Gary + $1 entry.

Im still in favor for just the Sunday Rockstar practice.

There would be no $1.00 entry fee. At the most we would need to pay $15.00 for BYOP then that would be the entry fee. Therefore a grand total of $45.00 with paint. The fees on the flyer for the Season Opener are just for that & have nothing to do with the practice..

However I thought that one of you guys had been talking to the Rockstar guys & they would let us attend for free if we brought our own paint? I would appreciate it if you guys could see if they would be willing to forgo the $15.00 entry fee since we are travelling so far to get there???????

I'm back from the trip to newfoundland haha. Is anyone in contact with any rockstar guys? If not i might be able to PM one i know of, thats about it :/

The idea of both still doesn't sit well with me haha. But if its what all you guys want to do, I'll do it for the team lol

So whats the deal guys, save some cash and just go to the Rockstar party? Or practice both days?

I've contacted Rockstar they said the best they could do would be $10 BYOP each.

Final decision?????

$40.00 to practice with Rockstar including $30.00 for paint on Sunday.

$30.00 to practice here on Saturday

$70.00 to do both practices.

If we practice with Rockstar we either have to leave here very early Sunday morning or on Saturday evening.

Another alternative would be to have a shorter practice here Saturday afternoon & have more paint for Sunday. We don't want to run out of paint on Sunday after making the trip down there. You guys need to decide what your going to do. RIGHT NOW! We need to have complete teams to attend the practice with Rockstar.

I vote for saving $30 on Saturday. Arriving at Gary's later in the evening, then leaving in the morning for the Rockstar practice. Just my opinion.

brigham and i have agreed that due to the low numbers of people (7-8 ) available to play saturday
just sunday is the better option
that leave only spencer not attending as he has commitments saturday night
as for brighton, as far as i know, mat is in toronto saturday, so he could attend only the rockstar practice
david has orientation for his job at the park both saturday and sunday
and thats all i know

How many players are planning on attending this practice. It seems to me you guys don't have one complete team??? If we are going to have the extra cost of transportation etc. It should be worth our while. There is only one practice after this weekend before the next event. It seems that there are not enough players making themselves available to practice!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im pretty certain Mike, Caleb, Brigham, and I will be attending.

Plus Jon and maybe mat Arthur

is 6 of us enough to make the trek up to toronto?

Matt Arthur may be able to attend. I think that Jake & Conor were also planning on going as well. That would be 8 players altogether, which would be an acceptable number. What time can you guys be here today?

If everyone can be here early enough, there is some work to be done on the field & then I would give everyone some paint to play some ball before it gets dark.

The weather is supposed to clear for the afternoon!!!!!
